There has been so many question about the right time to place order using my free forex signals. Though i actually I usually write the suggested time to place order in each signal’s post, i think it would be better if i write a separate article about it.
Before we go further, let me remind you these :
Therefore my signals would be very effective in Europe and US session. It’s true that i always make the prediction even before the opening of Asian session, however my signals effectivity is still at Europe and US session. So, placing your order at Asian session is not recommended
Asian session starts at about 00.00 GMT and Europe session opening is usually at about 06.00 GMT. Placing your order few hour earlier than Europe session opening will give you risk of having so many whipsaws. Though rarely happen, GBP/USD price whipsaw on Asian session is possible.
That’s why I suggest that the best time to place the order is immediately before the opening of Europe session. As of my own observation, GBP/USD price usually move in a relatively small range after 04.00 GMT. I think placing the order at about 05.00 GMT is the best choice to catch earlier move of this pair.
The next question then “may I place the order after 5 GMT?”. This is really discretionary, however I can say that you may place the order after 05.00 GMT only if one of these conditions are filled:

I do tend to write some tips on GU, that I know, on this blog. So, please keep reading it
About EU, i dont trade that pair. so, i cant say nothing about it

Bro Ganesh
Time difference between London, United Kingdom and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The current time in London, United Kingdom is 5:03 PM on Monday, June 8, 2009.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is 7 hours ahead of London, United Kingdom.
The time in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is 12:03 AM on Tuesday, June 9, 2009.
UTC+1 hour / UTC+8 hours
London, United Kingdom / Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
8:00AM / 3:00pm
9:00 AM / 4:00 PM
9:30 AM / 4:30 PM
10:00 AM / 5:00 PM
You did mention that Malaysia time zone is GMT+8, so 8am-9am GMT+3 would be the same with 1-2pm at your time zone (malaysia). I think it’s more of 2pm – 3pm in that case right. I’m new too just making sure all is right that all buddy
June 14th, 2007 at 5:09 am
Thank you for the signals, but I still confused with the time, You use GMT+3 so since I’m in USA(Ma) my time will be GMT-5?
To be more clear, when in London is 5Am here is 12Am.Thanks again.

txiko,
i do not really understand what your local time zone is in GMT format. You might want to check your time in GMT format using this web http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/
on the front page, you’ll find your local time zone autodetected by that web software. It will help you knowing what your local time zone in GMT format
hope this help
June 14th, 2007 at 9:36 am
Thank you, I believe I got it.
To make it easy GMT is the time at London(since London is at Greenwich Mean Time)so if you place the order between 8 and 9 am, here I will do it between 3 and 4 am.

i do not really know about it, probably 7am-8am gmt+3 .
please try this link
http://www.worldtimeserver.com.....ity=London
and compare the time shown there with time shown here (in my analog clock)
September 22nd, 2007 at 2:29 am
ganes, pls sorry that i am disturbing you with this time of a thing. could you pls help me to calculate the time by yourself.
Pls pls pls pls.
If the order placing time says 8am-9am GMT+3 by your analog clock. that means i should minus 3 from your analog time to get the time in London because the London time is GMT.
Pls anyone out there can help me too

hello Mr Ganes.
i want to say thank you for the good work you are doing to help people all over the world to make money.
As i was going through your site i saw that it has generated a lot of arguements.
i will like to know which country you live in. And pls at what time do you place your own trade in the country you live in. the analog time is confusing, why dont you use a GMT time that is universal all ober the world
September 22nd, 2007 at 8:14 am
yakubu, the time to put the order is 8-9 gmt+3, so you should place the order when the analog clock shows 8am – 9 am.
you should not converting again. Just watch the analog clock, when it shows 8am, so it is the time

Hi Ganes
Am from Nigeria and I am just bumping into your site, I will like to start using your signals and before I even start, I am sort of confidence with all the comments pasted on your site though still conscioius of the risk involved in forex trading. But please, will you tell me the actual time to trade here in Nigeria and Please keep up the good work.
A sort of advice, if you can do away with the +3 for your GMT time and do the real calculation in GMT, will be better. Takia

hi i’m new to forex and i trade from nigeria i use alpari as my broker but i’m having a difficulty in placing pending orders. first of all can a pending order be placed for the same day or does it have to be a future date. second when deciding the minimum number of pipsu can differ from the quoted price , how do you ensure that your stop loss and take profit is adequate so that the platform does not reply that your parametrs are invalid? thanks
